Kristinestad stärker integrationsarbetet
Kristinestad stärker sitt integrationsarbete genom att tillfälligt förstärka integrationsenheten med en individuell handledare för perioden 1.9-31.12.2026.
Behovet av stöd och vägledning har ökat under året i takt med att fler nyanlända invånare etablerat sig i staden, efter att många ukrainare ansökt om hemkommun i Kristinestad.
Den nya resursen ska bidra till att säkerställa ett smidigt mottagande och erbjuda stöd och vägledning utifrån varje persons behov. Handledaren talar ukrainska och kommer bland annat att arbeta med samhällsorientering, vägledning i kontakter med myndigheter, stöd till seniorer samt andra integrationsfrämjande uppgifter.
Genom förstärkningen vill Kristinestad säkerställa att nya invånare får ett gott mottagande och de verktyg som behövs för att etablera sig i samhället och bli delaktiga i det lokala livet.
Kristinestad Strengthens Integration Services
The City of Kristinestad is strengthening its integration services by temporarily reinforcing its integration unit with an individual counsellor for the period 1 September to 31 December 2026.
The need for guidance and support has increased during the past year as more newcomers have settled in the city, following a rise in the number of Ukrainians applying for municipality of residence status in Kristinestad.
The additional resource will help ensure a smooth reception process and provide guidance and support tailored to individual needs. The counsellor speaks Ukrainian and will work with tasks including civic orientation, guidance in dealing with public authorities, support for seniors, and other activities that promote integration.
Through this reinforcement, the City of Kristinestad aims to ensure that new residents receive a warm welcome and the support they need to establish themselves in the community and take an active part in local life.
