Music education programs

Lappfjärds folkhögskola (Lafo) offers education in sound technology, music and music production in an inspiring environment. Our different programs provide a comprehensive education for further studies in the music industry and also supplements and updates the industry knowledge for musicians. Many of today's leading musicians in Finland have started their career with us!

We mainly teach our classes in Swedish but many of our students and teachers are bilingual or multilingual.

Sound technology program

Music program

Studying in the Music Program (pop, rock, jazz) is about finding your own sound and developing your own personal qualities and musical abilities.

Music Production Program
