Welcome to Kristinetstad’s swimming hall Ankdammen!
During week 22, from May 27th to June 2nd, the swimming hall will be CLOSED due to maintenance work. We apologize for the interruption!
We will reopen on Monday, June 3rd, at 3:00 PM.
The swimming pool will close for this season on Thursday, June 20th, at 8:30 PM and will reopen on Monday, August 12th, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
Kristinestad’s swimming hall is a modern sports facility that was built in 2010 and is visited annually by nearly 30 000 people. In the daytime there are organized swimming lessons for pupils and various water gymnastics classes for adults. In the evening you can do fitness swimming, take part in guided water gymnastics, use Hydrohex water gymnastics and you can also try the jacuzzi. Here you can improve your fitness or health or just relax and recover.
There are four 25 meters swimming tracks for fitness swimming, a teaching pool, a jacuzzi, a therapy pool and 25 meters water slide. Water temperature is between 27 and 32 degrees. In the shower rooms there is an ordinary sauna and a steam sauna. You can also book an accessible sauna. On Saturdays you can book the swimming hall for groups. There is a café in the entrance.
Opening hours
Monday–Friday, at 15.00–20.30.
Morning swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30–9.00.
On Saturdays at 11.00–17.00
Closed on Sundays
The cash desk and café close 1 hour before the swimming hall closes.
The pools close 30 minutes before the swimming hall closes.
On some days the therapy pool may be reserved for water gymnastics at 15.00–18.00.

Children under age 7 swim for free.

Special groups, children 10 tickets 25 €, annual ticket 45 €
Swimming tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
You can pay in cash, by bank card, Epassi, Smartum, Tyky, Edenred mobil or Virike.
Caregivers of close relative:
According to the decision of the City Council, caregivers of close relatives are entitled to 25 free swimming tickets per year. The card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please present a certificate at cash desk.
