Guidelines for Vendors at the Old-Fashioned Market in Kristinestad
To preserve the historical character of the market and provide visitors with the most authentic experience possible, all vendors are required to follow the guidelines below:
-
Products should primarily consist of handicrafts, artisan goods, local food products, traditional baked goods, natural products, artwork, or other items that fit the market's historical theme. Modern products, plastic toys, mass-produced souvenirs, LED items, and goods with a distinctly modern or commercial profile will not be accepted. The organiser reserves the right to determine whether products and sales concepts are suitable for the event.
-
Vendor stalls should be designed in a way that complements the historic setting. Visible plastic materials, modern advertising signs, and other contemporary elements should be avoided. Modern equipment such as mobile phones, card payment terminals, plastic containers, coolers, and packaging should be kept as discreet as possible.
-
Historically inspired clothing is encouraged, as it contributes to the overall atmosphere and visitor experience.
-
Vendor stalls must remain open and staffed throughout the market day. Vendors are kindly requested not to pack up or leave before the market closes.
Thank you for helping us preserve the Old-Fashioned Market as a unique cultural heritage experience and a living journey back in time.
